Aggrieved members of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has vowed to pay back the leadership of the party with mass defection and working against the party in the next year general election.
We gathered that large numbers of the party members who converged at the residence of the Oyo state governor earlier today expressed disappointment over what they called worst than imposition of candidates for the local government election. They warned the governor not to allow the fake primaries held across the thirty three local government areas of the state to scale through, if he indeed want to win the state for the APM, otherwise he should forget about the state and even his presidential ambition.
One of the protesters lamented “if we say we are having selection, and the manner of imposition is still allowed to this extent, then we should just forget about the whole thing. This is pure mess. Those of us who were asked to step down last time were schemed out this time again, thinking that we dont have our own people we can control. We will show them shege!!!”
