The death has been announced of Alhaji Ashirudeen Gbadamosi Atanda popularly known as Oluwalanbe, in Lanlate Ibarapa East local government area of Oyo state.
According to a relative who broke the news on a whatsapp platform, Oluwalanbe- a popular Oil and gas marketer and Philanthropist died at the early hours of today after days of illness. Ashirudeen- a devoted Muslim and lover of charity was said to have died after performing the obligatory prayer of the Muslim, even though he has missed some of the prayer times as a result of his illness. “He kept mentioning that he has to fulfill the obligations despite experiencing weakness and loss of appetite. He died as a true Muslim indeed”, the condolence passed revealed.
Late Ashirudeen’s death makes it the second loss to the petroleum marketers association in Ibarapa after the demise of Alhaji Adesope Fasasi Akano a.k.a Owotutu who died few years ago
The late business tycoon is survived by an aged wives, children and grand children. May the Almighty Allah (S.W.T) accept his return, forgiver his shortcomings and accept his soul inside Aljanna firdaos.
